Privacy Policy
How DABBAB collects, stores, and protects your data.
DABBAB is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Production data is stored exclusively inside Saudi Arabia.
1. Data we collect
Account information you provide (phone number, email, name, city, motorcycle details), content you publish (ads, posts, comments, photos), interactions (offers, messages, friend requests), and technical data (device, app version, language preference).
2. Location data
Your location is private by default. We only show your live location to other riders during an active ride or trip you have explicitly joined. Location sharing automatically stops when the ride ends, you leave the trip, log out, or revoke permission. We never expose your exact location publicly without your active participation.
3. Motorcycle and garage data
Motorcycle ownership details (brand, model, year, engine size) you add to your garage are visible to other riders only based on your privacy settings. We do not display sensitive details such as VIN, registration expiry, or insurance papers publicly. Identity documents submitted for trusted-badge verification are never shown publicly — only the badge itself is.
4. Messages and chat
Direct chats and team chats are private to the participants. DABBAB administrators do not have casual access to your conversations and may only review reported messages within the scope of moderation, with all access logged in an audit trail.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider (Moyasar). DABBAB stores transaction references, amounts, and statuses but does not store full card numbers. Payment-failure and paid-but-not-activated events are flagged to administrators for review.
6. Your rights under PDPL
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Some data may be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or audit purposes (active ads, payment records, dispute history) — we will notify you when retention applies.
